Patrick Ness's Fantasy Novel to be Adapted for Cinema This Year...

Patrick Ness's fantasy novel will be released in movie form this year. The children's book centers around a boy whose mother has terminal cancer, and a storytelling monster. The film adaptation has a slew of big names attached, including actors Liam Neeson, Felicity Jones, and Sigourney Weaver, so if you haven't read this one yet, better pick up a copy in time for the October premiere.

An unflinching, darkly funny, and deeply moving story of a boy, his seriously ill mother, and an unexpected monstrous visitor.

At seven minutes past midnight, thirteen-year-old Conor wakes to find a monster outside his bedroom window. But it isn't the monster Conor's been expecting-- he's been expecting the one from his nightmare, the nightmare he's had nearly every night since his mother started her treatments. The monster in his backyard is different. It's ancient. And wild. And it wants something from Conor. Something terrible and dangerous. It wants the truth. From the final idea of award-winning author Siobhan Dowd-- whose premature death from cancer prevented her from writing it herself-- Patrick Ness has spun a haunting and darkly funny novel of mischief, loss, and monsters both real and imagined.

'Game of Thrones' Bran Stark all grown up in Season 6 ...

Bran Stark in season 6 of Game of Thrones
Bran sat out season five, as his character was holed up learning to master his ability to control animals' minds.

The British teenager plays the paralyzed son of Ned and Catelyn Stark, who is able to transport himself into the minds of animals to control them.

Bran was last seen in the season four finale, when he met the Three-Eyed Raven, played by Max von Sydow in the new season.

The latest photo of Bran makes it look like he’s much more determined, maybe even confident, and definitely healthier looking.
"Game of Thrones" returns to HBO this April.

Marvel`s Agent Carter Season 2 Premiers January 2016...

The eight action-packed episodes that make up the first season of Marvel's Agent Carter tell a rich, tight, tale of espionage that begins small, with Howard Stark recruiting Peggy to retrieve his stolen inventions, before spiraling and taking a detour to Russia with the Howling Commandos, hinting at the precursor to the Black Widow training program, and culminating in a finale that proves once again why you shouldn't send a man to do a woman's job.

Set against the sexism of the 1940s, the series captures the spirit of the era in a way that allows Peggy to rise above it all while also focusing on who she is post-WWII and post-Steve Rogers.

With excellent supporting work from James D'Arcy, Enver Gjokaj, and Bridget Regan, the show is an all-around entertaining watch that merges easily and effortlessly into the larger MCU. But even if you're not a big fan of Marvel or comics, the series can stand on its own and is absolutely worth your time.(source TV.com)
